That's awesome   it's amazing how resilient children can be. Congrats!

I just had mine at 40w3d and she's absolutely perfect and healthy...I couldn't be more thrilled/proud of myself. Everyone told me all through my pregnancy that there was "no way" I would make it to my due date because I was so big. I'm glad I proved them wrong.

Not pointless at all! Good for you for not trying to rush your little one and letting them come when they're ready!! I wish you the best and I hope you will be holding your baby soon!

and do you plan on going 41 or 42 weeks before talking about induction?

Refreshing to hear somone proud to carry their baby to term. My daughter came at 37 weeks & my son at 36. I want to go all the way too!

Everyone in my family is getting on my nerves telling me ” It's time for her to come out” how the smurf do you know? They've been rushing me since 37 weeks saying something is wrong bc she's not here yet. I want to punch them in the face.

Ugh that's how I felt! I was like, why would I want to have her early? What is wrong with going to 40 weeks?

Last my midwife checked (3 weeks ago) I was almost at a three and 90% effaced.she doesn't check every time bc she says it will just make me antsy. On tues she's sweeping my membranes so hopefully I've progressed some.
I'm refusing induction unless I medically need to do so, my mom went almost a month overdue with my brother, so if my lo is stubborn I'll suffer lol. As long a my fluid isn't low, and my placenta is working they aren't coming near me lol.

Exactly. I almost hit my step mom last night with all the ” come out already” comments.   I'm the one carrying her, what's all the rush for? You won't be taking care of her. They (my family) act like it's their kid/property.
