any december 21st due date mommies have their babies yet?

im curious to see how many had their babies already?? i still havent :-( im beginning to think my daughter will never come.

I would hope not, as those babies would be early and most likely in the hospital. Give it time OP, baby will come out, can't stay pregnant forever.

She will come, give it time. Just when I was ready to give up on my LO coming my water broke lol

um the baby would not be early...it would be full term. full term is 37-42 weeks and im 39...i thought my water broke today cause i heard this pop but it was just my pelvis cracking grrrr

No term is at 37 weeks, full term is 40 weeks, overdue is after 41 weeks and over.

Term is 37, however they're teaching 38-39 weeks is term in schools now, 40+ is full term.

My best friend is due on the 21st. She's still cooking. No labor pains or anything yet. Just lots of pressure, she says.

My BFF was due the 21st. She had her son 12/12. He was in the NICU for 24 hours. They went home today.

i know it can grow back but as im less then a week away from my due date it probably means its soon. i lost my plug with my son and went into labor the next day

i dont need people who are gonna be downers. especially since this is a very happy time for me cause having a baby is exciting especially around my birthday.

I'm not trying to be a "downer" just telling you the facts. Losing your mucus plug does not guarantee you will have a baby tonight. Also that 40 weeks is full term, not before then. There are many who do not know these things so I was simply trying to educate you so you won't get your hopes up too high.

I don't think anyone is being a downer. I lost my mucous plug and went into labor 4 days later with my eldest. He was born at 37 weeks, had respiratory problems and went to the NICU, which is why I said they're changing what "term" is. To many babies have been born at 37 weeks under developed.

What was wrong with him?? Wouldn't December 1 have made her term and December 12 make her two days shy of 39 weeks?
Glad she and baby are doing well now though.
