I'm not saying to work in the fields until you get old and retire from there lol. But if you need a job right away like asap and you really want your child back(if you love him/her that much) then there's your job right there waiting for you. I would do ANYTHING for my son.

I really wish people would stop giving op a hard time, she's dealing with domestic violence, an injured child and in my eyes she's still a child herself.

No fortunately for me i have not have to go job hunting lately. I have my hands full managing 5 properties I rent out. But yes I have worked in the fields, delivering pizzas, wharehouses etc...

And yes Katie I understand. I would be heartbroken and losing my mind if my child was being taken care of by someone else. That's why i'm giving her really good advice. CPS doesn't seem to care about them going to school so there's option's either go to school and then go to work afterwards. If that's too much then drop out of school and go to work. How am I not being compassionate by advicing her on what she can do? I risked living under a bridge(thank God it didn't happen) to save my son's life. I'm sure she's a strong willed person that would do anything for her child from what she wrote.

From what she wrote I gathered that she is a child herself, in an awful situation and apparently with little or no support from her family.
We've given her advice, it's really unhelpful to make her feel worse by suggesting that she isn't doing her best to get her child back, maybe she is doing her best?
Clearly she needs to make some serious changes beginning with getting herself safe.
Managing 5 properties shouldn't take that much time really, perhaps you should also be toiling in a field.

No job = no child, is what she was told by CPS. And no Katie i dont need to work in the fields because I have a good job but yes I would work there if I had to like i said before i've done it made like $500 in one week and got the hell out of there. as for you viv i'm sorry Mc Donald's didnt want to hire you I have no idea what state or country you live in and how bad the economy is out there. As for me I live in California where the economy is horrible with a high percentage of unemployed people. Bottom line there is jobs out there and I never said she doesnt love her child, seriously get a clue.

OP: glad you finally decided to leave. this thread has been some lovely drama filled reading while snuggling next to my poor sick little baby man while he sleeps.

i have to laugh though -- in your profile, you identified yourself as a "juggalette" -- of course i had no clue what that was, so i decided to research it... and... HAHAHAHA oh my god -- that is the stupidest thing ive ever heard of, and pretty pathetic too... juggalette... hahaha. oh girl. stop!

This whole thing makes me so sad. She keeps saying he never hit her, yet in her update, she said he punched her... AGAIN. It's an abusive situation and I hope she has the drive to do what's best for her child. That's all that matters.

It is, and clearly her life is a mess. She's young and he's extremely abusive. She's deleted other threads where he strangled her. I hope she has some sort of family support to get her and her daughter away from this

Sorry I haven't been on in a while I've been looking for a job.

I can't work in a field because I'm in school trying to get a education so I can go to college so I can become a teacher so I can support my daughter. I've also applied everywhere I can within 30 miles. I live in Texas and there are NO jobs out here because their almost all taken by illegals but I'm Hoping and Praying that I get a job!!! I am busting my ass trying to get a job so I can get my daughter back. BD and I are still broken up
