Does anyone else think that maybe these people are crazy, and actually believe the whole world ending 12/21/2012 hype so they're going out and commiting this horrible crimes and then killing themselves because "we're all gonna die" in a week anyways OR committing crimes because if we're all going to die there will be no consequences?

EITHER way I'm keeping my daughter and I indoors until the 22nd. This world is getting too crazy.

I'm not specifically talking about those poor babies, just a tragedy, an attempted mass murder and an attempted murder in one day? It's flippin ridiculous.

I'm not saying I disagree. I in fact very much agree with you. People are psycho over this 2012 thing. I just think these discussions are in poor taste when it hasn't even been a day yet. The nation is grieving along with the families. Let it be for a few days.

Right but those were isolated incidents. I find it more than coincidence that all of these things are happening at once and I have a horrible feeling that terrible things will keep happening in the next week because people are crazy and buying into this whole world ending thing.

They aren't doing it for the suicide. The want or need to kill people but kill themselves to avoid the consequences of their actions.

I believe in the darkness of humanity in general. I dont believe its related to anything, I mean...the Holocaust happened in the 40's and millions of children died. I also believe that psychiatric treatment should be more readily available in our country. Many people (example relatives of mine) desperatly need treatment & rehabillitation but can not afford it, thus...cycles of violence continue because of people's inability to cope. And I also agree that conspericy shouldnt be involved this soon.

Yeah that stuff bothers me too. The shooting is not because the world is going to end. The person who did it is probably mentally unstable, like most criminals in this situation. They aren't shooting because of panic of the world ending. What happens during times that people think world will end is mostly suicides, and people taking advantage of others for money.

I think people are just crazy and evil.

Someone on my Facebook posted that it is the beginning of the Rapture. These "psychos" were sent by God to kill the innocent so that they could be with Jesus. I mean I suppose if you're Christian that'd make sense.
