ABA therapy? *not autism*

My sons OT and speech therapist want us to have ABA or some type of behavioral therapist come into the home to work with him and us as a family, or go as a family to a therapy center, but in our home is preferred by them.

Anyway he has been aggressive for awhile. And he's not just hitting me anywmore. I guess he has been pinching and hitting his therapists in session. When I called my sister I guess he was hitting and pinching her daughters the last time they stayed the night (teenagers) my son is three.
And he has been pushing his littler brother down, out of no where.
Biting. It's escalating. I do everything I'm told. Intervene. Try to help him calm down and instead of improving, it's getting worse.
After he lashes out he is very remorseful and usually crashes in a nap.
So I can't find ABA therapists in my area. And the one place I found that will accept out insurance wants to see us- four hours a day four days a week o.O I think that's overboard. His OT and Speech therapist want and hour or two a day, two days a week.

So do your know where to go to receive services? I got the run around for 2 hrs when I was trying to figure it out today. Even got referred to an alcohol treatment center :/ I feel like people in my county are rediculous and don't know where I should be referred. Please help me!

I cant help in terms of where, but we are currently doing an intensive version of ABA and I absolutely see results. The hardest part for me with the ABA is to ignore attention seeking behaviors-but it really really works.

Thank you for the input   I hope we can find a place near us this coming week. It was pointed out to me that the behavior will most likely continue and were asked if would rather treat him as a young small child, or wait until he's bigger and really has impact with the blows.

I love ABA therapy! I work with a few at my school. They work with a lot of different kids not just on the spectrum. I am totally pro ABA

In, WA do you know how/where to find a therapist? I'm hitting a dead end.

Also contact your insurance. A few companies I know of only work with tricare but that is changing very soon.
