NuvaRing

I'm just wondering what some of YOUR pros and cons are if you have had experience with the Nuva Ring. TIA!

I woke up one morning in the worst pain of my life. I was burning so badly, I felt like my vagina was going to fall out..long story short all I had to do was take the Nuva Ring out and all the pain was gone.


Horrible infection.

Used for two years with no issues. My fav thing was knowing exactly when AF was coming

I LOVED NuvaRing... I never had any complications other than it falling out sometimes after sex.

I loved it! Best easiest bc ever! I was on it for 4 years.

This too. Knowing when AF is coming so you don't ruin your good underwear. haha

Never had a problem with it at all.

I GOT PREGNANT ON IT.

HATED IT! Omg. I broke out sooooo bad. My skin is still scarred up. I couldn't lay on my stomach because my face would rub against my pillow. I also had painful periods.

pros-not getting pregnant. seems to be the only bc that im not terrified of, is too invasive, and i dont have to remember to take at a certain time or whatever.


cons----dont want sex and i have been going though some tough emotional/psychological cycles with it,
i never did have much drive before but its getting better now, and this month wasnt that bad with the hormones either. maybe it ust took some getting used to....

It made me feel less yucky than the pill but it also made me hungry 24/7.
