posted 14th Dec
I think I might be becoming numb to all the smurfed up smurf that happens, this morning when I read what happen I wasnt surprised or taken back, my first thought was well it was bound to happen again with how many mass shooting there had been recently. And this may sound horrible I feel smurfing horrible saying this, but I bother me that people dont give a rats ass but how many deaths that have over seas because of the war or in Syria. I need to snap outta this.. like asap...

Yeah.

You do need to snap out of it.

Innocent little babies were killed today.

Right now people are hurting, terrified and extremely saddened by the fact that 20 innocent CHILDREN were killed in OUR country.. So yeah, Syria isn't that important right now.

This.

I can't, for the life of me, begin to imagine sending my child to school and never seeing them again. Those poor children and parents...

Its not that no body gives a smurf about people dying in war. Honestly you join the service you sign up to risk your life.
These were 20 innocent children in a place they should feel nothing but safe. Now they have to try and get through this and having horrific night mares as they relive today for a very long time.
I couldnt imagine that. My heart breaks for the kids and the parents and the teachers. Its not fair

As a mother, this hits me pretty hard. Idk what I would do if I was in those parents' shoes waiting to see if my child was one of the lucky ones to make it out of that tragedy.

War is terrible don't get me wrong. My husband is in the service and I hold our service members very close to my heart, but this struck me hard.

our country just suffered a great loss 20 innocent children and to think about what is happening somewhere else is out of the question we need to fix our county before we worry about stuff overseas the sad part is that now we in america aren't safe anywhere not the mall not school elementary through college or even where people go to pray we need change here and it needs to happen fast before another horrendous tragedy like this occurs again

Big difference. Syria has been at war for about a year or more.

These young children were at school in their seemingly safe, lovely, peaceful town.

Same here.   DH and I were just talking about it. I couldn't imagine how they are feeling, and I hope I never have to. By hoping it isn't your child who was lost, it's like wishing it is someone else's child instead and that is also heart breaking. You never want to wish that on anyone. Of course we also never would wish anything like this to happen, ever.
