Personally. It's sad to me, but I don't dwell on it. It's over and it's done with and there's nothing we technically can do about it now but pray for their families.

It's sad, I'd be hurting if it was my child(and it's why I hate that my child has to go to public schools because he's special needs), but so much bad smurf happens everywhere and the guy was obviously deranged and mentally unstable.

So to me, it's sad, but I won't let myself sit here and cry about it on baby-gaga.

I'd rather just pray and give my kids an extra hug and kiss...

And speaking of which, because of what happened, my son's school DID go into lock down today. Scary, yes? But thankfully nothing happened with that.

I think it has something to do with not giving into the fear that these shootings create. I mean we'll never really know why these people do this but on some level it's got to be for attention, to make a statement about something and I refuse to let some piece of smurf dictate how I feel. Smurf him. If I give in to it, he wins and he's just a loser so I rise above it.
