Baking for Brookes birthday and car trouble *pics*

I had a smurffy ass day! My husband was supposed to take the day off with me, but then he ended up doing some work related smurf till 2. I had so much baking to do and I ran out of vegetable oil, so I decide to take a run to the store. I get about a block from my house and notice this:


I text my husband, call him, call my BIL, numerous members of my own family and give up and say "Smurf it, it'll go another block back home, I'm sure" About 25 feet later I smell burning and it's hardly moving anymore, so I pull over about a 1/2 block away from home

If he answered me he wouldn't have had to shell out the $300 for a new rim, tow and tire. He could have just brought me a spare from home.

Anyway, I did get a lot of baking done

Wow! You were productive.
I baked a boatload of cookies today for my neighbors. I've been making the dough and/or freezing the cookies all week. It felt really good to deliver all 12 tins today. DONE! Now i can just bake for my family.
I love ANY excuse to bake.
