Probably because of smurf like this. It's not the first time i've heard this or a similar sentimentand the majority of Christians I know agree with it.

I don't automatically assume that you believe in a spiteful God. I was responding to the assertion written on the shirt, which is that God could have saved the children, but declined to because prayer isn't allowed in the classroom. My uncle is a catholic jesuit priest, and he would never ever make the assertion that the school shooting was a type of divine punishment.

It does, and that's REALLY sad. One of the little girls I guess, 6 years old, gathered all her birthday money and presents and donated them to the hurricane victims. Do you think you'd ever hear things like that? No, but they will talk about she died. It's sad.
