I love to bake!! I asked for a kitchen aid stand mixer for Christmas lol! It's crazy the things I ask for the older I get. If it was 5 years ago and I got that for Christmas I would have been like "WTF?!?!" Lol

hahah i was literally just talking about that same thing with someone else the other day, crazy the things we get excited about as we get older  
i got my stand mixer last year (it's light turquoise  ) and i looove it!

My mom has one. I always get talked into baking when I go over to her house because my dad says my mom is a horrible baker lol. I always use the mixer and for the past 6 months or so I said I wanted one. My dad said I could take my moms because it doesn't produce anything good hahaha. My dad is a sarcastic smurf. I just said to get me my own for Christmas. I asked for that a new dish set or gift card to Bed, bath, and beyond...with that said...it is crazy the stuff we ask for the older we get for sure lol.

since coming back to SAHM-hood, me 'n my friend (and our kids) bake goodies like 3 times a week (we use the holiday time as our excuse now   )

Lol I hate to cook!!! But love to bake..go figure I love to make junk food 

I always bake stuff I find on Pintrest and my family is all like, "OMG this is so good!" "You're def. the baker of the family!"

When in actuality I'm just good at following directions on recipes I find on Pintrest! They don't know that though  I will continue to let them think I'm awesome haha.

If you want to try anything new I have tons of recipes I've tried and the end product was soo yummy!
