re: WORKING IN NYC?

my sister-in-law has lived in nyc since she was... 16? she lived in bx until she moved to the village early last month. more expensive but also more convenient for work.

also, i have a friend who recently moved from miami beach to the upper east side. he had to stay in a hotel for 2 months before he found something (it was a spur of the moment move). he is a manager at Coach and does not go to school but somehow he affords it. he lives alone in a 1 bedroom apartment.

i know how it is. while i haven't actually lived there, i used to spend summers there.

Cool. Fortunately, there are lots of ways to "move it on up" in NYC. I miss it!

You do but most people don't is what I'm saying. People who have never been there are hear all about how "bad" it is normally don't know about the nice parts. Same with Brooklyn and Queens.

I always say how I can't wait to get out of here but I will miss it too when I leave.

that is ridiculous. but there again, i guess it is like people going to the keys (where i am originally from) and thinking it is such a tropical, beautiful and awesome place to live. then, they get there and there isn't even a beach lmao.

That's what I think of when I hear about the Keys in Florida - beaches lol. I've never been there so how would I know?
