It's an excuse to stay awake...

Max literally 20 minutes ago ate 5 slices of pizza. Slammed a bunch of water, and now got put into bed.
First thing he whines about in bed?
He's hungry well he puts STARVING TO DEATH....

YEAH OKAY... good night, child.

Gah my son uses every excuse in the book to get out of bed.

I want a drink.
I want to kiss the dog night night.
I want to kiss the cat night night.
I want a new shirt.
My pillow is wet.

The list keeps going.

My son does the same thing. I get him all ready and in bed and he says "Momma, I want milk. Momma, I want TV." ect.

the other night he said he had to poop... he pooped right away and sat on the toilet for over 45 minutes pretending to push...

my oldest's excuse is having to use the bathroom. She will go 5+ times in an hour to keep from going to bed. And of course we can't say no bc she can be spiteful and pee herself/bed on purpose.

Sounds like my son just add I need my blanket, I need my pillow meaning he wants them moved differently on the bed and then tells me he can't do it lol

I know ALL about that. He acts like he can't put his blanket on himself so he will wake up just to ask for that. Or his Elmo isn't in the exact spot. Last night, he wanted his black mittens on his table by his bed.

Lol last night my son freaked out and would not go to bed because i forgot to put his cup on his night stand then proceeded to cry because it wasn't what he wanted to drink. It's nice to hear other kids are doing this stuff as well.

Lol!! My son does this, too. His favorite is..."momma, I;m starving, I need warmer pants!". When he's already wearing warm PJs and the heat is one AND he has 2 big blankets.  

For some weird reason, he keeps confusing the words starving and freezing. (He will randomly say "momma, I;m freezing, I want a sandwich!"  )
