Two Years Ago Today :'(

My best friend who everyone called Kira passed away two years ago today in her sleep at just 52 years old from diabetic related complications
Time has made it somewhat easier to deal with, but I will always miss her. She was my now two year old daughter's godmother, and one of the most amazing people I have ever known. My fiance and I are naming this baby after her.

Thank you. She passed in her sleep, so I just hope it didn't hurt.
Make sure he eats regular healthy meals and doesn't miss injections or medication. I fear this happened to my friend because she hadn't eaten all of the day.

he doesnt really eat healthy but he always take his medicine. Im just always worrying, do you mind me asking if she had type 1 or type 2, but im guessing 1

She had type 2 I think. Her blood sugar was 310 upon death, but my mom who is a nurse says she's seen it much higher in people who are still alive and kickin'. So not certain what happened to her.

Oh wow. Im sorry to hear that, hopefully you've had some closure, and I think its a great idea to name your baby after her.

Well I can say time has for sure helped to take the edge off even though I still miss her a lot.
I was going to get a tat in memory of her, but then found out I am pregnant with another girl and I thought how awesome would naming her after her be.
Just her first name though.
Baby will be Kira Elizabeth
