Any New York State moms homeschool?

I would like more information about homeschooling in NY. My daughter is supposed to start school next year and I am leaning more towards homeschooling instead of sending her to public school. Pros? Cons? Advice?

You also have the cyber schooling option also, unless that is was you're talking about. I was homeschooled for 3 years and I enjoyed it a lot. But I would take your child to activity centers and involved in sports or other classes just so they have that interaction with other children, that was my only complaint, not having other kids around.

Yeah I just need information about anything that is homeschooling. Too much crazy smurf happening to kids in public school for me to justify the risk of sending my children there.

I would look online for any cyber schools in your area or any homeschool associations around you. A lot of home school associations help you tremendously in getting started and they bring homeschoolers together for activities and field trips. I'm seriously going to put my daughter through cyber school when she reaches that age.
