The boys' uncle is documenting everything that happens, he's called but it seems like they're not doing anything. Maybe if more than.one person calls in they will actually help him.

Well then you can call CPS too, It can take time as well as persistence. Having more then one report of it can help. I would get everyone who knows and can get proof to call in.

Call child services! My sister-in-law has done the same thing. She is 28, a stripper, into every drug known to man, and has a 3 year old little boy. He isn't bathed often, he is just now starting to talk, and is left alone all the time. I don't get to see him that much, but when I do, he calls ME mama. I have called DCS on her and they have done nothing. . .

I think it's petty to nit pick other parents because it's not your style ... but something like this is something you have the right to be upset about!

I'd help call CPS too! Every child deserves a good life! He needs to get out before it permanently damages him  

My best friend's friend from high school was exactly like this.

Her oldest son's father eventually got custody and he moved out of state. Then she was pregnant a second time, had the baby, and my best friend went to visit her. She talked about how she didn't want the baby but everyone would judge her. Finally my best friend was able to talk to her without judgment, and she helped her find the family that adopted him.

Honestly, I know it is horrible, but people get really lost in drugs. It's NOT an excuse, I'm just saying... she is probably having a hard time thinking clearly being so strung out. She might just need someone to talk to her when she is sober enough to think, and help her get the kid living with someone who can provide for him. If she won't or refuses to, I would definitely call CPS before something worse happens to the child.

Keep calling CPS also call the cops and tell them that there is "suspected" drug use at the home. If the cops get involved then CPS has to actually do something. I really hope that the little boy gets out of that. You would think that the "mom" would just give the child up seeing how she doesn't want to be a mother to him.
