My 1st ultrasound

Last friday 12/7/12 I went for my first prenatal visit and the doctor couldn't find a heartbeat.. All we could hear through the doppler was swishing noises which she told me was movement and that it might be to early to find a heartbeat. So she scheduled me for a ultrasound yesterday and the ultrasound tech couldn't find the baby and was asking me questions like when was my last menstrual cycle, when was my positive pregnancy test, have I been doing any heavy bleeding ect. and when I told her everything she just looked at me like she didn't believe me. So she left the room and went to get another guy and he started searching lower in my pelvic area and low and behold there was baby. Everybody has been telling me that I lost the baby or that I was never pregnant and it was all in my head because they couldn't find the heartbeat and it has been so frustrating trying to prove to everybody that I'm not crazy and there is definately something in here because I can freaking feel it. Now that I have my ultrasound pictures I just feel like shoving it in everyones face.. but I won't be that way people will believe what they want... My due date has changed to June 21, 2013 and I turned 13 weeks today  

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. What was your original due date?

You feel it? I doubt that. At 13 weeks you probably have gas.

I got a positive test through the pregnancy test center and my EDD was June 20, 2013 when I went to my 1st doctors appt she told me June 21, 2013. It's just a day.. My last period was 09/14/12 so it adds up.

Oh. It just doesn't look like a 13 week ultrasound, but maybe it's just the angle.

Ha some can feel flutters. Doctors will say is gas but do you believe everything a doc tells you umm no. lol

Is that a pic of its head?

I definately feel flutters.. Just like she tried to basically tell me I miscarried and this is all in my head.. I know what I feel and I know I didn't miscarry I think I would know if I did. Lol.

I'm bad at ultrasounds but mine at 13 weeks looked like.... A baby..

Yeah, that's a terrible angle or something ... Because you should see arms and a head and tiny legs ... All that fun stuff ! ... Movement at 13 weeks? Probably just gas or your digestive system at work ...

I don't go by what I hear just what I see and feel.

i started feeling flutters at 12 weeks so bglicious is right... it defo was not gas! this is my 3rd child.. i know what gas feels like.

It is more normal with a third pregnancy than a first

And gas feels totally different than flutters imo. With your first you may not know since is all new and you are not going to think is flutters and you going to believe that is gas since that is what the doc and people might tell you. I hate when people are skeptical and make a big deal to say pshh is just gas yada yada. Kwim. Lol
