Babies don't poop every day. Just like some adults don't. Does he seem like he's in pain?

No dont do sugar water. That's not good for babies at all.

He could be gassy. Try bicycling his legs and then gently pressin them up to his belly. Also you should look into an infant massage class. I have a child with lots of gastrointestinal issues even being ebf and it helped her a lot.

Well your midwife wouldn't be able to help as they don't really deal with babies. How about your childs pediatrician? Give them a call before trying any thing for sure. When I called they had me give my son a warm bath, massage his belly and pedel his legs. None of it worked so they approved me giving him diluted apple juice. But I would run it by his pediatrician first.

This and moving the legs in a bicycle like movement or gently knees to chest then down and repeat...my daughter loves it as we make a game out of it. Not only is she laughing, but she's farting away-she has to feel better...getting things moving along.

When my daughter didn't go for a couple of days they said to take a q-tip and tickle her butt hole. I thought it was weird but it actually worked.

Yup rectal stimulation is good. They don't have te ability to push like us so sometimes it just needs a little coaxing of the muscles haha
