Wish him luck!

DS has been on meds for his aggressive behavior for quite some time. He was extremely violent and would have outbursts several times daily. He has been progressively been getting better and hasn't had a violent outburst in almost a year! He still gets upset but will yell and cry. Any way, we have an appointment with his psychiatrist tomorrow and he will be getting off of his meds!! Jake has a big speech he prepared for his doctor *his idea, it's so cute*. I'm so proud of my boy, he's so amazing. We've been waiting for this day and it's almost here, I hope everything goes as planned!

I hope everything goes well. Are there going to be any reactions to him just, stopping the meds? Or any possibilities of it?

I don't know if he'll have to be weaned off or not. This could have a great outcome but it could also be a disaster, we'll just see. DS has had problems sice he was two and could never control his emotions, he would just start swinging. He's gotten so much better though so I'm hoping he wil be able to go with out the meds and just use his self soothing coping skills we've been working so hard on.

So do I, he wants it to be perfect. I really hope that he does well with out them.

Everything went great! He's being tapered off, his doctor said how impressed he is at Jakes progress. I'm one proud momma!!!
