Birthing ball to help "Induce" labor

So, i've heard that bouncing on a birthing ball can help induce labor (if your body is ready of course). I don't have a birthing ball, and don't have the extra money to go buy one. So i was curious ... My bed is pretty bouncy, so would that work just as well as one, or is it completely different?

Completely different.

A friend of mine had her husband drive her around on a bunch of bump roads full of pot holes for a few hours and she went into labor lol. You never know what may work.

I've tried everything and not smurf is working. I really want to go into labor on y own before they induce me, but its starting to look impossible.

You can refuse the induction.

Take lots and lots of walks. And sex. I thought I was never gonna go into labor and then I went naturally the day before my induction.

No i can't. Its medically needed. I'm lucky they're letting me go till 40 weeks as is.

Been walking and FINALLY coerced SO into sex today haha
Sex did make me a little crampy, so will be doing more of that hopefully

Insulin is refusing to control my GD. They've upped it three times already and my sugar is still running pretty high.

Sorry to hijack your thread but I do have a medicine ball and was just wondering when and how you use it? And what does it do for you during pregnancy?

This is me...plus preterm labor on top of it. I have my 7th ultrasound wednesday. I hate gd and feel horrible that nothing i've been doing has helped bring my numbers down. This is the 3rd time i've had it and never felt like it's been out of control

I'm assuming just bounce on it? Lol idk myself really
