6 month old standing

posted 13th Dec
DS doesn't even crawl yet, he's just not interested in it. He'd rather stand! Haha. And he can stand by himself, with the help of furniture. I think he might end up skipping crawling all together and just go straight to walking first. Haha. Random, kind of pointless post..

My son loved to stand at 6 months. Around 7 I got him one of those walkers he can hold on to. He was walking by 9 1/2 months.

My kids were both pulling up on stuff by then too but my son didn't crawl until 7 months and started walking at 10 months. Dd started "crawling" (she never really crawled, she booty scooted) at about 6 months and started walking at 10 1/2.

But m husband altogether skipped crawling and just started walking, but not until 13 months.

It's crazy how every baby develops so differently. (: DS kind of army crawls or like inch worms forward once in a while, but not much. He's getting a few push walker type things for Christmas, so maybe those will help him out!

I swore my youngest was going to walk early because he was standing and starting to move around a bit by 7 months. Well.... here we are at 13 months and he's still not walking.   I think he can, but he's too scared. I mean the kid can even go into a standing position from crawling in the middle of the floor now. The little stinker sure can climb though.

My DD started standing the exact same day she learned to crawl at 5.5 months. She would use furniture and let go every so often. She's 9 months now and learned to walk 2 weeks ago by herself and is at the point of RUNNING now, she like charges you it's too damn funny! We got her one of those push walkers that is a grow-with-you type, because they can sit and play with it and then you put the activity board on the push walker and they go with it. We have that one and she LOVES it and I do believe it help strengthened her legs so she could walk this early. http://www.kmart.com/vtech-sit-to-stand-learning-walker/p-004W003535997000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1
