You know, buddies DO ask at random "Hey we're going ____, come with us!". And he could have said "Sure!" and just forgotten he needed to call you. Be a little understanding, unless this happens all the time, let it go this time. Pick your battles.

They werent having a Christmas party, they were going to one.

Yea lol I'm bad. I start envisioning he got into some awful car accident or some smurf. XD

For reals! I am the same way... Dh has learned to text me when he is out and most times he will just call. He is an awesome dude, he knows I am a worry wart. I will even call my mom to make sure she made it to work okay if I hear that there is an accident on her normal route... she has been in 3 accidents though, and I have known several people close to me die in car accidents.

I was in a bad car accident too. I think it's common courtesy to let someone know if you aren't going to be home after all... idk. Although if this was the guy's like only time I wouldn't be too upset
