How far along are you? I had back labor both times and it felt like I was getting ripped in half. Back labor sucks

I did with my first.. it would be like a tightening pain that would start in my lower back and wrap around to my belly. They were consistent too

if it's consistent, or timeable to 3-5 min I would head in and get checked.

I had back labor with my dd, it was the worst! It started out like an ache but in a few short hours I was in tears. I was in so much pain that I really could only tell that my stomach was getting super hard if I put my hands on it. I only found relief in the shower or leaning over things and grunting/moaning through it.......

If your really uncomfortable and like others have said, if its consistent I'd say go in. Worst case you just pulled something and you'll be sent home to rest. Good luck Mamma!

Back labor is the worst! I had it with my daughter, and I am guessing I will have it with my second daughter as well since I keep getting back contractions. Whatever the nurses say, don't let them think you are confined to the bed! Laying on your back while having back labor just makes it worse. Getting up and walking around, or bouncing on the birthing ball really helps too.
