Moving.

This is a double post;
First! DH and I are looking to move, he is a diesel mechanic and can virtually work anywhere. We would like to stay western states (Oregon, Southern Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming). We Also don't want a lot of rain. I have that season depression smurf and I need sunlight!

Second! My parents are really reluctant to me moving away with their grand baby... They have had such a major part in his life up to this point, but we really need to move from the area due partially to his family and we want to be on our own. We are having a hard time doing that with MIL trying to control things.

Any opinions on one the other or both would be super appreciated!

I say move if you weant to. AZ has practically no rain so you would do great. ANd if you have asthma, the dryness will help. As for your parents, They may be reluctant and upset but I'm sure they would understand. Especially if you need to get aeay from the MIL.

Surprisingly it is rainging right now and I have to ride the bus home. I'm supper sad now cause my jacket doesn't close over my big belly

I moved across the US 2 years ago and I could not be happier. I lived in Northern CA (Bay Area) and moved to Central PA. I had a hard time severing ties with toxic people and that made me move so far.

Weigh your odds is my biggest piece of advice. Look at how often you'd want to go 'home' to see your family and so on. If you want to do it more than say, twice a year, then staying within an 8 hour car drive would be the easiest on your wallet. If you only want to go back once a year or once every other year then go for going farther than an 8 hour drive. Do your homework on where you want to go or even are looking at going. Some geographical locations may SEEM cool on paper but suck ass once your physically there. Maybe do a test trip to the place your thinking about moving your family and go from there.

I go back to CA about once a year, twice if I can afford it, and it breaks me. It costs me about 1200 each trip with airfare, cars, hotels and so on.

i don't know it sometimes i like it and then i don't
