I waited until my 10 week ultrasound with DS, took a picture of it and posted it on FB with no caption. The reactions were rather amusing.

I just know that I'll be getting an u/s at 8 weeks, but I don't know when the next one will be. They might wait until the anatomy scan. I doubt they'll do one every time.

I pretty much announced it on FB the day after I found out. I was 6ish weeks.
