CS question
posted 13th Dec
My son's biological father is over 10 k behind on his CS.
Currently he has a SIS of two years unsupervised probation. It states he cannot use alcohol or drugs, must have a full time job, and must pay at least $300 a month, and will be tested for drugs and alcohol.
So my question is........
What happens if he fails any of these things???

BD owes 10k as well, hasn't paid since march.
Got out of rehab in July
Now lives in a halfway house and doesn't work, and they won't enforce the child support order because he's on welfare
It pisses me the smurf off. I want them to force him to get a job and stay on top of his drug or alcohol use.

He will get a violation of probation and have a sitation to court most likely

He'll have to go to court or, in some states, can be picked up right away for it.
This depends on what actions have been taken against him prior to this.
You can always report him if they aren't keeping tabs on him as well as they should.

Nothing that they haven't done to him before. There's only so much they can do to enforce it. Put him in jail, garnish his wages and federal income tax, suspend his license, report it to the credit bureau. If I were you, I'd just put this in the "lost cause" list and forget about it.
