9 month old motor skills

Just wondering.....DD has good gross motor skills, crawling, pullung up, standing etc...but she doesnt seem to have finer tuned fine motor skills. At least not compared to one of her little friends. However her little friend does not have the gross motor skills. She doesnt crawl or anything. Do children perhaps develop one then the other rather than both together? DD does not clap or wave either. She tries to clap but just frantically waves her arms around and then she will clasp her hands and look at them lol

I just think it varies from baby to baby. My 9 month old is walking and can clap as well.

I think every baby is different. My DD is 8 mos old and not crawling yet... but she can clap, wave, has a good pincher grip and so on.

DD is 10 months but she can clap her hands. Play Patty cake with me. Wave bye and hello. Pick up foods the pincers grab. Give kisses when asked blow kisses roll and throw a ball. Push buttons on toys. Play peekaboo with her hands or a blanket.

She crawls but does not pull herself up at all. She can't stand not even holding onto furniture her legs are like jello. Lol she sits up if you put her sitting she can't put herself in that position yet. All babies are different and better in one area then another IMO.

DS is 10 months, crawling, pulling himself up and letting go of what ever he's holding and stand on his own, waves hi and bye, but doesn't talk yet, you know the normal mama or dada sounds

I think it varys a lot from child to child.
My daughter is 9 months old and she says mom, dad, pop-pop, hi, bye, more, night night, all very clearly, and gibberish. She stands up by herself she doesnt need to hold on to anything to stand she takes about 4 steps on her own. she walks while holding onto furniture, she crawls like crazy, she waves bye and hi, gives kisses, gives hugs (pats my back when i hug her) she pushes buttons on toys and chases our dog around the house.
