my 3 year old witnessed my birth (not intentionally) and that was okay but she wasn't swimming in any of the goop. just ew.

I mean...I think it's gross.
If that's what the family wanted to do then...ok.
But I couldn't do it. I'd be jumping out of the tub myself, I'd be grossed out just chillin' in my own blood/water. Definitely wouldn't want the kids in there.
If DH wanted to be in there with me, cool. But we wouldn't just sit around afterward...lol

Eh, doesn't bother me. Kids are washable. In his 4 years I've washe blood, sweat, tears, pee, poo, vomit, and more off him. It won't hurt him!

Was it a home water birth like that? If he was soaking in there taking pictures after the delivery I would have to say that is gross.
