Food for a party?

For probably twenty adults and ten kids?


Is 40 hot dogs enough?
I'm making chili in the crock pot. Is a 6 quart pot big enough?
Is three dozen cupcakes enough?

I would say that's probably plenty

Oh yeah, that's enough.. If you want you could wrap them in croissant rolls with cheese and have like big pigs in a blanket.. more filling that way.

Well there will be buns and toppings. Lol

I personally would do 60 hot dogs. Only because most adults can eat 2. For my daughter's birthday I made enough for 2 per adult and child and we had NONE leftover lol.

The cupcakes would be enough, that's one per person with half a dozen left over.

Thank you for being honest. I didnt think it seemed like enough but MIL said it was. (Party is at noon.) We're having chips and dip, veggies and apple slices too.

Two more questions:
Is it tacky to do turkey instead of beef because thats what I prefer?
Is that enough chili?

I say no, not tacky. And you could do 50/50 that way the people could have a choice if you wanted, but they probably won't be able to tell too much of a difference.

Chili should be fine.
