My step son is 11. I just had my baby. And I post pics of him 24/7 on fb. If I don't tag my step son, or dh, I get ragged on. Why this and that from dh's family. So last night my ss got on fb. So today he came home from school and said. "Don't post pics of the baby on my wall, too embarrassed, I don't want anyone to know" wtf, I almost flipped a car am I pissed! What am I suppose to do with him, my dh isn't doing anything about. Just asked. My ss, and I aren't on good terms.

1) an 11 year old shouldn't have a FB
2) FB shouldn't cause this much "drama"

If he was actually old enough to have a FB I would say that he has the right to choose what's or what's not on his page.

And if you're upset that he's embarrassed to be a big brother... he's 10. An a new baby is a sign that his dad is with someone else that's not his mom. He may not have told his friends all about that yet, and I'm sure he doesn't feel like explaining that to his friends. He's a child, he may just be insecure about the fact that he has a step sibling now.

Delete his Facebook. Problem solved

well it wasnt my decision it was his fathers, and he doesnt get on it alot, its to connect with his family. family only

Then why would he be worried about his friends seeing his facebook and being embarrassed?
