I don't see how being a sensitive person is a bad thing. I have a ton of empathy for other people. And things on here have hurt me, such as reading stories of how people lost their children. Whether it be SIDS, stillborn, or a miscarriage. It hurts my heart to read about the pain they're feeling. I recently saw a video a mom made for her stillborn and not only bawled my eyes out, i picked my daughter up out of her crib and hugged her for such a long time, just being thankful i was able to do so.



I fail to see how that's a bad quality to have. I'd rather be sensitive than cold any day.

That's understandable...but I was namely talking about being sensitive about things you see posted in here directed towards ones "character"...no one in here is your judge, has a heaven or hell to put you in, and 9 times out of 10 are saying "mean" things purposely to get a reaction. Of course I feel sympathy, empathy even. But in real life for real experiences. If someone on here is being bitchy, it's hard to feel sorry for them. Especially if they can make a joke about the same experience. But I fault no one and at the end of the day, things happen. We move on, don't forget, but don't harp on things either. Life is too short.

Some people just have to use inappropriate humor to cope. They can't express their sadness with the " normal" tears, moping, and depression even though inside that's how they feel.

When i was 11 my dad died. I was making jokes at his funeral. Granted, i think i was too young to feel all of the emotions and hurt at the time. It was my guard. It takes a long time to take that down.

I guess that's why i understand when people act like that.
