Well, I did it.

I completed my application and profile to become a surrogate. I'm just waiting to hear back from someone.

Wow this feels good.. I really hope someone picks me. I'm excited about the potential to give some family such a wonderful gift.

I do have a few questions if there is anyone surrogate-ing (not sure if that's the right term, haha.) for anyone now and would like to offer some friendly words.

Sorry I can't really help you out here with advice, I just wanted to let you know I think it's a great thing what you want to do!

Your doing such a amazing thing! ive thought about doing it once im done having my own children i just dont know if im strong enough to carry a baby for 9 months then hand it over to its real parents! But congrats!   i hope you keep posting updates i would love to follow your story if you get picked to be one!!

Good for you. The only person I would do that for is my sister but she has already said if she finds out she can't have kids then she wants to adopt and give a child a family and life they might other wise not have gotten. I can tell you either way any baby she has is going to be greatly loved and cared for. Her and her fiance are awesome people.

I'm really excited about this. I don't really see a problem with giving the baby to it's real parents once I'm done.. You see I'm in no place financially or emotionally for another one of my own.. But I really loved being pregnant. So I figure it's a win-win.   My SO will be happy because I'm getting what I want, without actually getting a baby and I will be giving such an amazing gift to someone.

I will be sure to post my story as it develops!!
