Mamas with miscarriages

If you had one then got pregnant later on, were you able to get seen by your OB office right away? My OB office wont even see you til almost 10 weeks.. I wasn't going to call til the end of January at least... Thoughts? Opinions? TIA!

Unless your high risk. my OB won't see you until 9 weeks.

I called my ob and told them I thought I was pregnant they told me to come in but I also hadn't had a period since I had a miscarriage (May 2010, got pregnant oct 2011) and my gyno and I had been trying to figure out some ish that started happening. So if you know when it happened thats probably why they don't want to see you yet for me they needed to see how far along I was.

Yup, the moment I found out I was pregnant, I called, told them I had a m/c and was pregnant again, and wanted to be seen. And I got an early appt and an ealry ultrasound.

I get that but my m/c was in July so I'm good  

They got me In the same week I called and monitored me closer until I got out of the first trimester.

I feel weird about calling  , so I think I am going to wait until after the first of the year.

I'm only seen early because of my previous ectopic pregnancy, if it wasn't for that I probably would have had to wait, even with 2 other losses.

bah no was referring to if you know when you got pregnant I type all screwy when I'm at work. I just know when I called they asked me if I knew when it happened and I couldn't tell them, they told me if I knew when I got pregnant I didn't need to come in but since I had no clue to come in asap.

aww I'm sorry mama. Yeah ectopics are horrible, I can see why they made you come in. Sorry for your losses <3

I've had an ectopic, too   were you able to get pregnant after it? Actually, would you mind if I sent you a PM?

I was able to be seen by six weeks. But I got pregnant less then three months after my miscarriage. I don't know if that changes anything.

Are you seeing the same doctor you were seeing with your previous m/c's or no?

When I got pregnant with Mallory they saw me at 5 weeks. Now I did have a threatened m/c & was bleeding, went to the ER, then saw my OB. But I had already prescheduled an appointment with the OB anyway. So I would say yes! My OB knew how terrified I was to have another m/c. He knew I was not willing to wait until 10 weeks or whatever they would request, for me to be seen. I'd make that very clear to your OB that you are very worried & you want your levels drawn. (if that's the case)

Even with my history, they weren't going to schedule my first OB appointment until 10 weeks. I told them I wasn't comfortable with that. I go in next week. I'll be 8 weeks. I don't understand how some women get in at like 4 or 5 weeks! But after my first miscarriage, they didn't want to see me any sooner. They didn't run blood work or anything. I went in at almost 11 weeks to find out the baby didn't have a heartbeat.
