Marbling nail polish

Can someone tell me how to do it. I know im sure its on pinterest and online but someone tell me how to do it. Have you done it and liked how it turned out?

I've never tried it, but they have easy to follow tutorials on youtube.

Really the best way to learn how is by youtubing the videos. That's what I did. I watched, like, 5 of them before I tried it. lol.

It's fairly simple, but there are certain tricks. You want to use room temp water. Not cold. I find that a smaller cup is easier to work with as opposed to a big one. And TAPE your fingers or you will have a hell of a mess to clean up. haha.

I can ask my friend she has been doing it for several months and it's starting to look really good. I know she said something about use water and nail polish but I just can't remember the process.

I've put tape around my nails so i don't get polish all over my skin
Then put a few drops of polish inroom temp water make a random design with a tooth pick and dip my nail in
The polish will stock to the nail and you can move excess polish away with a tooth pick our orange stick the lift up your finger and repeat with the other 9 fingers  

I always watched her videos.if you look at her profile, she has marble nail art separated from her other nail art videos.

Stupid phone won't let me fix my spelling errors grrrr!

I did it once but its mostly trial & error. Sometimes it would work, sometimes I'd have to redo the nail a few times before it looked right. I learned to do it from watching youtube vids.

also, not all polishes work. You'd have to look up which brand you could use for that sort of nail art.

I use Vaseline instead of tape when I do water marbling. The polish around the nail always wipes right off.

Paint your nails any color you want. Let dry.
Place tape around fingers to avoid getting nail polish on your skin
Get a small bowl of water, make sure water is at room temperature.
Choose 3 nail polish colors that you want.
Drip first color. Just let the color drip ONE drop from the brush.
Drip 2nd color within the first color
Now third within second.
Take toothpick and swirl the colors together, thus creating any design you prefer.

Dip finger, nail first, into the colors.


The colors will spread out so you'll know what im talking about
Lift, let dry.

Viola! Love doing marble nails.
