Thats so great. My first labor went too quick for all of the antibiotics (1 hr 46 mins). Tate tested slightly positive but didnt have any symptoms and didnt have to spend any extra time in the hospital. Congrats on your baby girl!

The pedi told us it's not likely that she'll test positive for anything.   He said it's very rare that babies actually get group B from their mothers. He wants to keep her for 48 hours though, which means I'll be here til tomorrow evening at best. That's alright though.   At least she's here.

No offense, but it seems like your doctor induced you simply to put you on a schedule and not because the baby is too big. My OB tried every excuse in the book to induce me and give me a C-section for his own convenience (due right before Christmas) and I ended up switching at 36 weeks to a Midwife. You have the option to say no and make your own decisions. Don't let the doctor make you feel like everything they say is what needs to happen. I wish you the absolute best, stay strong and I hope you have a beautiful labor and delivery!
