Ok, I don't know the exact extent of OPs physical problems but she has some pretty serious ones, I think mostly with her hips. Some days she can't even walk and she's in physical therapy etc so maybe it makes sense for her doctor to want the baby out 6 days early....
And I'm normally way against induction especially before 42 weeks, but in her case I can understand and be happy for her

I was the same..literally screaming in pain. I was induced, not because of that though. Although I was happy LOL. But anyway, good luck OP!

My thoughts Exactly! My OB said I would have a 10lbs baby at least and she came out 7lbs....

I'm extremely proud of her for making it this long without all the normal whiny posts and asking for induction a month ahead of time like some girls do who dont even have issues  

Congrats! Good Luck! It is very odd they didnt do an ultrasound to see how big. I am not against induction at all, I have been induced twice. After they had to stop labor a ton of times before! But I always thought an ultrasound was done, I dont know how feeling a belly tells you size! lol My doctor felt mine & said wow that is a big baby he was right because I had an ultrasound & confirmed it. Im only 34 weeks & over 7lbs already. Either way Congratulations! =)

Yes, because of my hips being the way they are, delivering a baby any bigger than 6-7 LBS would require a c section, and he REALLY doesn't want to do that. We would both rather a vaginal delivery, so here I am.

Yeah true! I had hip problems from 12 weeks on..sucked! So I understand the pain lmao. I tried waiting for him to come on his own, but was induced at 40 weeks. I was pretty much forced into it because my supervisor basically started my maternity leave because he wanted my position to for sure be covered  

I was told I was going to have a small baby and he actually came out at 8 pounds 7 ounces, feeling your belly cannot determine the actual size in my opinion.
