I dont mind baby poop but if i dont have to clean it that makes me happy...i like diaper changing to go as quick as possible not worrying about rinsing and washing afterwards. Like i said i couldnt stand having smurffy diapers sitting in a pail waiting to be washed. Id wash them one by one...which would mean alot of loads in a day haha

Ikr I dont mind it neither. It the long run it saves us time. use toss. Honestly it isnt that expensive you buy the diapers which you can always get coupons or deals then use then to then toss them.
Voila! No mess no clean ups.

I don't use cheap wipes. To thin, plus the chemicals in it to clean babies ass...I'll pass. I buy all natural soap. Cost more, makes me feel better. Kids have better skin.

Like I said its a personal preference.

I dont neither was just saying if you wanted to be cheap. I buy Huggies and they are thick enough and does the job plus for one pack is less than 2 dollars the box like 10. Haha and the best part is that I dont have to make them or reuse them and can always change up.. Have a nice day hun and happy holidays!

We used disposable for about two month, DD had horrible reactions to the chemicals in every diaper we tried so we went to cloth. I'll never use disposable again. It takes the same amount of time to change a cloth diaper as it does a disposable. If you breastfeed there is no need to rinse off the poop. We have saved so much money as well! Yes, you do have extra laundry - but I only have two extra loads a week. It can be very cheap or very expensive depending on what you buy. And as for smell, my disposable diapers made her room smell, the cloth doesn't. It's not for everyone, but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be or that everyone else told me it was.

With disposables you dont have then sit in the trash or of course is going to smell.lol if is poop seal it in a bag or throw it outside even when I didnt do that it didnt smell. Does your trash have a lid? how often do you throw out your gargage? Different strokes for different folkss but to say is cheaper come on.

my disposables never stunk casue i dont believe in diaper genies or diaper pails i think its disgusting. I just wrap them individually in bags twice and take my garbage out once or twice daily. And even though i do breastfeed there is no way i would leave the poop in the diaper...i dont care how runny or natural it is...i would have to rinse it haha. therefore cloth diapering would be more of a process for me.

This! I agree with you also diaper genies or diaper pails are just a waste imo.

For us it has been cheaper. We were having to spend at least $150 a month on disposables - i've spent no more than $200 on cloth in the five months we have been using them.

$150 for a month that sounds unreasonable. Do you have triplets? Lol

I am reading all of these posts and it seems like A LOT of people are "hating" on cloth diapers. I personally have never tried them and never though of even going down that road. It sounds nasty....I do know that I have one child and we buy the 180 pack of diapers ...we just bought them like a week ago and my son is already almost half way through the whole box!! He poops a lot. lol and it is just getting to be very costly. It's pretty much breaking the bank so to speak. Sooo I'm looking for the most cost efficient way in the end...the extra steps don't really bother me ( such as cleaning cloth diapers) and also poop doesn't bother me ...I've been pooped on plenty of times already! haha...I also don't see how they would smell differently unless you let it get out of hand or get lazy with your washing.
