That my mom thinks my kids are mistakes, yet tells me she loves them? And thinks my new baby will be a "monster" because she does not like the guy i'm with and that my baby will be a monster because it runs in the genes????? Wtf crazy bitch.

Don't listen to her! My mother hasn't been very supportive during my pregnancy and considering the support she gave my sisters during all six of theirs it is very hurtful. But in the end I realized I don't need her. I will love my baby enough for the both of us. I don't care what she thinks, she had her time as a parent and if she isn't happy with me that is her doing not mine. You enjoy your pregnancy and that baby. Your an adult now, you can survive without her. Good Luck with your pregnancy and just enjoy it.

My mother use to say that our oldest was our "perfect mistake". I know she genuinely loves him to death, but the mistake talk still bothered me. I asked to please stop and I didn't mind "surprise" but that nothing about him was a mistake an I didn't want him to ever feel that way. She doesn't do it anymore.
As far as calling your new one a monster, crazy bitch, that's so smurfing mean.

That's wrong. my mom thinks the same of my daughter. since i had her before getting married, she says the pregnancy and my daughter is a mistake even though she loves her and gives her so much attention. i dont get it. i dont understand how someone can call a child a mistake but love them. does that mean in the end, even though she loves the child, she still wishes it was never born? makes me angry when i think about it. a child is innocent in its conception and the circumstances of its birth so no one should call it a monster or a mistake or blame anything on them

I don't know your situation but I can see why someone would say their grand kid is a mistake but still love them. However, saying your newborn will be a monster because she doesn't like BD, yeah .. very ignorant.
