Yup, I have an easy one.

Ch., form ring, 15 DC through center, sl st to join.
Ch. 1 SC in first st, 6 DC in next st (Petal 1)
Skip next st, SC in next, 6 DC in next (Petal 2)
Repeat 3 more times to form 5 petals. Sl st to join in first SC, fasten off.

Make sure you leave the tail long enough to sew on to the hat!

If it's a thinner yarn, that's probably why. Using different hook sizes will also get you different sized hats. I'd just start over with thicker yarn. For hats I always use Red Heart, it's cheap but it works well.

Ch. 4. Sl St through last to make a ring.
Round 1: Ch. 2, 13 DC through center of ring, sl st to top of ch. 2 to join.
Round 2: Ch. 2, 2 DC in each st. sl st to join.
Round 3" Ch. 2 1 DC in first st, 2 DC in next. (Repeat) end with 2 DC, sl st to join.
Round 4: Ch. 2. 1 DC in next 2 sts, 2 DC in st (Repeat) sl st to join.
Round 5: Ch 2, 1 DC in each st around, sl st to join.

With the highlighted do you mean round 3. 1DC in the first stitch, Then 2DC in the next stitch....then 1 then, then 2 and so on..?
And round 4... 1DC in the next 2 Stitches, then 2 DC in the next stitch after that... then back to 1DC in the next 2 St then 2 DC 1 after.. and so on? just to clarify, i have no idea what i did first.. but it worked.. but my hats are bending now! and im thinking im dong an extra stitch somewhere!
