1st Time Mother Due 1/31/13

Next month I expect my first child, a little girl. Her name is Alexis Marie. Being pregnant with her is the best thing to ever happen to me and I cannot wait until she enters this world. I am going to do everything within my power to be a good mother to her. I have great support from her father who loves her as much as I do. I have dreamed of the moment I become a mother since I was a little girl and that dream is about to come true. I love you my little Lexie.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have been looking for a good site to join to connect with other moms and mothers-to-be. I have been present at the births of all my nieces and nephews (6 in total) and have been there to change diapers and feed them but I think having my own is going to be a different experience.

Oh yeah, totally different. I raised my younger sister, so at first I thought I could compare that to having my own child and boy was I wrong.   It's all worth it though

A very different experience. It will be a lot harder, but it will be worth it.   My baby is 13 months and it went too fast. Enjoy every minute, even the stressful ones.
