Helping others while helping yourself :)

My mother volunteers at a Youth Outreach Center. The other day while volunteering she was working with a boy. He was telling her how all he wanted for Christmas was to make sure his brothers (there are a total of 5 of them) got SOMETHING for Christmas. Their mother has never ever been able to afford Christmas.
So this year my mother asked if he would like to come to our house for Christmas.
This is where we need help. We are going to try and raise money to put on a Wal-mart gift card so that my mother can take them to Wal-mart and it will help them get something they want. If you would like to donate ANYTHING please let me know. Money is greatly appreciated but we will accept any gifts for them. There are 5 boys total. All in High School.

(I will provide proof of my paypal as well as proof of the Wal-Mart gift card as well as (after Christmas) proof of the person receiving. I know people are kind of iffy this time of the year. But I can have real life friends that know me on here let you know this isn't me trying to get something for my kids or even myself)

Thank you so much. I am going to go this weekend and go to Ross to get the boys a few shirts each and socks. I would feel totally weird buying them undies. LOL

Thankfully here in my town I was able to raise almost 2 bag full of clothes for a 15 year old foster mother that goes their. She has a 3 month old with no winter clothes. I love my friend and family. Even those I don't know that offered a helping hand.

I am passing around a solicitation email here at work. So I should get a few people here. There are alot of big-wigs here. So I'm hoping to give these boys something they have never had in their life. To make one persons life exciting. It means alot to me.

I just really want to give these boys something they have never gotten before. They will be happy with 5 bucks. But I am hoping I can do 50.00 each.

I don’t know how I can thank everyone from the bottom of my heart. Its amazing how people come together for the good of our children. I am in AWE right now of the generosity of people. My heart is singing, doing flips etc…seriously I love everyone that has given a piece of them for these boys….
