Our office christmas party is tomorrow around 12, then the whole office is going to the ice skating rink downtown. I have to be home at 2 since DH works at 2:30 and I couldn't get a babysitter. The girls told me just to bring LO, but I don't know. I mean, I can't even ice skate at all, lol. Has anyone ever taken a 3 yo ice skating before (who can't do it well themselves)? What do you all think? It should be around 50 degrees but might rain (if it does we obviously won't go).

My kids were on skates by 18 months old. I would take a 3 yr old. My oldest was playing hockey at 3yrs old. lol

My friends dd started at 3.5ish yrs old I used to take her with us, cause her mom cant skate it took her about 15 min to get it down with very little falls. lol

We took Jett and it was a disaster lol I should of known though, he hates going to the skating rink. My sisters kids started at about 2 and now they go skating like 3 times a week! Wish Jett liked it lol

Were rasing hockey players. On skates at 2.

Honestly, I have no idea what he'll think about it. Do you know if there's other things right around the devon skating rink he could do if he doesn't like it? I'll have to check it out.

The devon center actually has Santa, a place where you write a letter to Santa and put it in his mailbox, a coloring station, and story time with Mrs. Clause. Also right around the corner from the skating rink is this awesome playground. It's Jett's favorite.

If your not skating then definitely take him and let him just run around and have fun
