Not at the time, but I HAD to have it done, health issues. But now I look back on it and I was like wtf was I thinking? Did I really expect to be able to take care of that kid? Granted, I was 18 which is why my mom didn't freak out too bad on me, but my ex was a dirt bag loser, I had no education, no job, nothing.

At least I was ready when I got pregnant with my daughter.

I'm just trying to offer her help and advice. No I havent had an abortion. Yes I realize that every situation is different. That being said I know I am speaking on something without any experience to do so but I just dont understand how adoption wouldnt be easier. I understand how hard it would be to give the baby to someone else to raise after carrying it for 9 months. I just think it would be harder to have an abortion and end all possibilty of anything for that life.

she got tormented at school horribly. then she had to lie on the stand and say another boy slept with her first to keep her step dad from getting the gas chamber. he got out of prison divorced her mom married her and had 3 more children

her mom had a bunch of kids by him too. at least 3 or 4. so she became step mom to her half sibs.

yup. she burried her baby in a purse. anyways that type of smurf smurfs you up for life. i think being made to have an abortion at a young age is different then carrying it to almost term then getting it taken from you.

I don't think any decision this girl makes is going to be an easy one. Ultimately, she has to make the best decision for her, and that's something only she can answer.

Um, is it even still abortion at 8 months? Isn't that legally murder?
Perhaps maybe not back when this happened but I'm pretty sure it is now at least in some states.
How awful though.

How long ago was this?! back in the day..abortions were illegal  


alot of states do not allow it after 24 weeks at the latest now..

if you dont want to do it DONT....if your not 100 with your decision you will never feel ok with it

This is a protected forum. And have you had an abortion? How do you know what you spew is true?

I personally haven't had one op, but good luck. There are women here that you can talk to that actually know what they're talking about.
