re: How bad is an abortion you don't want?

When I had mine at 19 I didn't need consent, but if I remember correctly minors needed someone with them to sign...I think. It was so long ago..it may have changed? I had the surgical one..idk if signing for consent is different with the pill.

I understand they see me as a child and too young to be a mom but it doesn't even change what it'll do to me I've made my mind up its better than doing an adoption either way its hard to deal with

They're not an easy decision. you do think about should haves, could haves, would haves.

i couldn't imagine carrying a child 9 months..feeling its kicks, day in, day out..just to hand it over to someone else.

Op already stated her bd is older..so im guessing illegal for them to be having sex to begin with bc she doesnt want him to get in trouble.. her parents could get a dna test done in the hospital and have him arrested.

I didn't want an abortion. Now that I'm grown I realize how badly I would've smurfed my life up if I had that embryo.

in my state ive heard of parents forcing their child to and its perfectly legal.

Of course you didn't need parental consent. You were 19--an adult.

Varies state to state.

Most states under 16 requires consent.

its probably hard on you that it was done but you probably breathed a sigh of relief though

my grandma was 12 when her step dad raped her and got her pregnant. her mom allowed her to carry the child until 8 months then forced an abortion on her and let her hold the baby.
