Kindergarten

My sons 4th Birthday is coming up Christmas Eve. Im worrying how hes gonna settle into school.. Not being away from home much.. How can I help him adjust?

is he not in a pre-k program? that helped my kids get ready.

He wont start Kindy until 2014 unless he gets accepted for early Kindy (after the Sep/Oct age deadline depending on your school district) next year.

I put K into an in-home preschool this year to have her out of the house for a few hours in a new environment. She loves it and I have no worries for Kindergarten next year.

We tried preschool.. he has constipation problem.. and the teachers there couldnt seem to understand that and he was mistreated for having that problem.. I was hoping it would help him be around other kids.. however.. He adjusted fairly well going there.. (until they were hateful) I hope he does when it comes time for Kindergaten when he has to!

Depending on your states age requirements for kindergarten hell be eligible for preschool most likely next year. If he is old enough for kindergarten next ye then preschool now would be a food idea to help him

See if you can get LO into a 4K, here those are only 1/2 day whereas K is full day
