My almost now 4 year old.. was always great.. until he started preschool... (which he no longer goes.. because the teachers were mean to him) .. he has constipation issues.... BUT.. I noticed a change in him being around other kids who acted this way.. also.. He gets really mean and ill if hes really exhausted and been busy and hasnt got to rest as much Big difference in his behavior is hes been really exhausted..

Do you have a harness? Or do you believe in them? Really, when he acts like that don't take him out of the cart. That's what he wants and won't help your case any

I had to use a harness for my daughter. And am going to start using it for my son, he has started not wanting to hold my hand and testing my limits.

We have one, and have since he was able to walk. He's 3 and a half and I've only used it twice. Once at the zoo and once at a science spectrum. I only used it then because it was very crowded. He's generally content to walk side by side or ride in the cart.

Gah, I think you just have to ride it out TBH! if he's gonna have a big paddy in tesco, just leave him to it!

I have a 3-year-old and am OFTEN thinking to myself these days "WOW i'd forgotten how ANNOYING 3-year-olds can be!!!" haha as my daughter is nearly 6 now and has been a sweet well-behaved girl since she was 4. But when she was 3, she was JUST as infuriating as my son is now!

The most irritating thing i find is the million-time mind-changing.... "I don't want that!" ok then, I'll put it away... "I WANT IT!" ok, calm down, here you are then "NOOOOOOOOO DON''T WAAAAAAAANT IT!" jeebaz right i'll put it in the frikking bin then! "WAAAAAAAA I WANNNNNNNNNNNNNNT IIIIIIIIT"

omg GR GRRR GRRR hahahaaa. Parenthood can be so testing at times!

That's exactly how my son is.

He does it with time outs too. I send him to time out, he finishes, then he does something on purpose and begs to go back in - until he goes back in...
