due jan 8th

but was asked about being interested in getting induced on the 2nd...

i passed it up today with being told the news i was 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced...should i have waited until next week (my next appointment) to decide? it's not too late to change my mind but this being my second i don't think i'll last until january..

I would waited it out, my second baby came at 37 weeks and 6 days. So you never know, and if you are already dilating then most likely it will happen on its own. Not always in all cases but in some cases it does. Being induce is hard on baby and your body.

i was induced with my first and i hated it. that's why i denied the offer honestly. i loved it because it was fast but hated it bc it happened TOO fast. 9 hours wasnt nearly enough time for my daughter, my blood pressure and heart rate dropped, her heart rate dropped and i had to wear oxygen and when she came out she had to wear it too bc there was fluid in her lungs for delivering too fast.


i just wasn't too sure and i'm kind of thinking the baby will come in a few weeks but i hope not TOO early :/

I was induce with my first too, Because high blood pressure and beginning of pre e. Mine wasnt that fast it took 3 days since they had becareful. That was the longest 3 days of my life I was so miserable. My second pregnancy was so much easier than first one and with not having be induce it was more relaxing and not as crazy.

i hope i don't have to have a c-section..if i do i'll be ok with it but not being able to experience the real labor bums me out and i don't want anymore babies/kids. i already have a 2 year old and this one, then my fiance' has a 3 1/2 year old and one that turns 1 on the 22 of next month(VERY close to when i'll be expecting this one to join the family) lol i'm ok for a few more years at least!!

Understand that this my 3rd and I'm so done after this lol. My lil girl 4 1/2 and son is 2 1/2 so this going be interesting with a newborn around in february. Good luck with everything ;)
