Favorite piece of home workout equipment?

After I have the baby, I'm jumping back on the weight loss train. DH has talked about getting a bench and some weights. I can't go to the gym because they don't have a daycare at the gym on base and we can't afford a membership elsewhere. I'm partial to body weight workouts, walking, and dancing. But maybe we can try something new come tax season. DH was going to get me a fitness pole from X-Pole but I feel bad because he can't use it. What do you have at home?

Elliptical--not that we ever used it.  

I don't have it at my home, but my grandmother-in-law has one of those stationary bikes. I know it's not a total workout but MAN I feel good after riding on it for a while. It's got guards on the "wheel" so DD can play in the room and I don't have to worry about her running up and doing something to hurt herself.

I guess I should take the kids into consideration too. I know they are going to want to play all over it. Ugh.

Get something that needs a key or removable switch to activate so that they can't play on it accidentally.
