December 2012 due date buddies ? for you

i had my ultrasound today at 38 weeks 5 days (due decemeber 21st) and they said she is 6 1/2 pounds and head down. they also said at my check up that i am 2 cm and 70% effaced and that next week i wont be pregnant...is that true or do i still have a ways to go?

you can stay 2cm for a WHILE hun   dilation and effacement doesn't guarantee you will go into labor. baby will come when ready!

I'm due on the 29th and I've been 2 cm and 50% for 5 days. Still nothing. Even after the 5 hours of constant contractions I had today -.-

I know that feeling. I've been in early labor for 5 days now. I've abandoned all hope. lol

are you having a girl or boy? im naming my daughter jordan hehe

A boy, named Holden.

I was dilated to 3 with my 3rd baby for a month before I had him. Lol. They come when they're ready! Good luck!  

im hoping i dont have to wait that long...ahhh this wait is killing me. hoping she is born on my birthday which is the 19th at the latest

I was due Monday 12/10/12 and I was 85% effaced, 2 cm and -1 station on Sat - spent all day Friday and Sat in "early labor" then it stopped - still pregnant here - this is number 5 (although I am 10 years older than the last time) - thought I would have had this ginormous kiddo by now - I can't seem to get the contractions to regulate this time - any suggestions besides sex and walking - I have been doing those both daily as well as cleaning my house yesterday for 5 hours and moving stuff around. I don't go back to midwife until Monday but golly - was hoping for a 12/12/12 baby at least for being over due.

ahhh damn. i need to start walking. i want this baby out.

m due 12/21 and on monday I had a NST and U/S...NST was fine and ultrasound showed she weighed 7lbs 3oz. Im 1cm and approx 10% effaced baby is at -2 station. Im still working hoping that all the walking will help but nothing so far.

walk like crazy it helped me i walked a lot when i was 39 weeks 5 days with my son and i got my bloody show that night and had him the next morning

Due this week & having some serious lower back pain & contractions. I'm on 1cm & tomorrow having a doctors appointment, walked like crazy today hoping I have made some progress.

i hit week 40 the 21st and still no baby. i wanna have her either today or my birthday (tomorrow)
