miscarriage at 4 1/2 weeks

How much pain is normal? it started last night with really intense cramping and only light bleeding. This morning it was very heavy bleeding with lots of clots. Right now it is moderately heavy and intense cramps, only on my left side. I have pain radiating down my leg and in my back. is this normal?

Idk ....I had a m/c at 4ish weeks and it wasn't painful. I had a m/c at 9 weeks and thats was very painful

In all honesty, my pain from chemical pregnancies was worse than from a 7 week miscarriage. It felt like a horrible period sent from the devil himself, whereas my miscarriages at 7 weeks were like light labor pains. I dunno about the pain radiating into your legs though. All I can really say is that if you're filling more than 1 maxi, 2 regular, pads an hour you should be seen at the ER to fule out any complications.
